What it does

The maintenance work, done and written down.

Each of these is a screen in WardiumLab today, not a plan. If something is missing from this page it is because it is not finished, which is the only reason anything is missing from it.

The night shift

Along the bench

One station for each job the lab does, every one of them at work on the same client’s site: bakery-shop.example.

  1. Backups, restored by the piece

Every site backed up on its own schedule, files and database. When something goes wrong you do not have to roll the whole site back to yesterday — take back the one file, the one table, the one post that broke.

  2. Updates that undo themselves

Core, plugins and themes updated from one screen across every site you look after. If an update takes a site down, it is rolled back without waiting for you to notice.

  3. Uptime, watched

We check that each site is answering, and tell you when one stops. Finding out from a client is the version of this that costs you the client.

  4. Security scanning and a firewall

Sites scanned for changed and unexpected files, with login protection and a firewall in front. The sites you look after are the ones somebody else is looking at too.

  5. Sandboxes

A throwaway copy of a client's site to try the risky thing on. Break it there, where no one is watching, rather than on the site that takes their orders.

  6. Migrations

Move a site from one host to another without the afternoon of SFTP, search-replace and crossed fingers that the job usually means.

  7. Everything that happened, kept

Who changed what, on which site, and when — plus WordPress debug logs collected where you can actually read them. The answer to “it was working last week” should not be a guess.

  8. The whole estate, from one screen

Plugins, themes, core versions, users, files and the database for every site in one inventory, grouped by client, with your team in the same workspace.

And many more on the way.

This end of the bench is kept clear for them. What is already being built is under the dust sheet.

Not finished yet

Under the dust sheet

Scheduled client reports, vulnerability intelligence as its own view, AI-assisted file scanning and visual diffing between deploys are all under way, and none of them is finished enough to sell.

If one of those is the reason you would buy, say so when you get in touch — it will not be oversold to you, and it will tell us what to finish first.

That is the whole bench, for now.

Every station works on every site you connect.
